QGIS plugin

The Sarkoa QGIS plugin adds a dock to upload, list, view, and download Sarkoa assets from QGIS.

Install

  1. Copy the full plugin folder (including the nested core folder) into your QGIS plugins directory.
  2. Restart QGIS.
  3. Enable the plugin under Plugins → Manage and Install Plugins.

Typical plugin directories:

  • Windows: %APPDATA%\QGIS\QGIS3\profiles\default\python\plugins\
  • Linux: ~/.local/share/QGIS/QGIS3/profiles/default/python/plugins/

Use

  1. Open the Sarkoa dock from the toolbar or Plugins menu.
  2. In Settings, enter the Sarkoa base URL and your API token, then save.
  3. Click Refresh to load your file list.
  4. Upload to add a local file. You can enable Optimize locally before upload to convert the file to an optimized format on your machine before uploading.
  5. Select an item and click View to add it as a layer, or drag the item onto the map canvas.
